If ‘crossover’ didn’t have such specific implications of a sound, I would call this such, because it is a perfect synthesis of punk and metal. Crunchy guitars, killer bass work, it’s all about the riffs and rhythms. The vocals lean towards punk or hardcore, but are clean and while mostly shouted come across as fairly mellow. The music reminds me a lot of Metallica’s Garage Days, which not ironically is a metal band doing mostly punk covers. This shit is awesome.
